Winnipeg VegFest was launched in 2016 to serve as a hub for all things vegan in beautiful Manitoba. Each year, we host a large and lively festival, bringing together a rapidly growing community of animal activists, environmentalists, and health enthusiasts. Together we celebrate a lifestyle of love and compassion for the animals, for the planet, and for our health.
Every fall, Winnipeg VegFest features an all-star lineup of speakers, a full day of informative panels, an incredible vendor market, an all-vegan food court, a food contest, fun games, a kids’ zone, yoga, meditation, and so much more!
In the spirit of compassion, Winnipeg VegFest is an open and inclusive community. We celebrate humanity in all of our incredible diversity. Our message of inclusion is simple: love all, don’t hate, and practice peace and compassion for all living beings.
We acknowledge that Winnipeg VegFest takes place on the original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dené Peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
