On behalf of the Farm Animal Compassion Committee of the Winnipeg Humane Society, we are delighted to announce the first-ever Winnipeg VegFest! This inaugural event promises to be a celebration of love, mercy, and compassion for animals and the planet, featuring inspiring talks, lively panels, interactive workshops, yoga, meditation, art, delicious vegan food, and so much more!

Winnipeg VegFest will be held on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the beautiful new Axworthy Health & RecPlex at the University of Winnipeg. With such a prime location at the start of a new school year, we anticipate a vast attendance of local Winnipeggers, as well as visitors from outside of Manitoba and even Canada.

Winnipeg VegFest will feature a truly remarkable line up of keynote speakers, including Carol J. Adams (renowned feminist author); Krista Hiddema (Director, Mercy for Animals Canada), Mimi Kirk (raw food chef and author), Camille Labchuck (Executive Director, Animal Justice), Leilani Münter (American racecar driver), and David Nickarz (VP, Sea Shepherd Canada).
